Paul Robert Lingas

A native of Portland, Oregon, Paul received a double BA in English Literature and Spanish at the University of Oregon before earning his MFA at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinema-Television.  His award winning film Wide Awake in Nothing has screened at numerous festivals worldwide and on the Independent Film Channel.  He has produced, written and directed a number of other award winning films, many episodes of a web based sit-com, as well as a commercial for a New York based social media company.  His screenwriting work includes original screenplays, as well as working as a freelance screenwriter, script doctor and editor.  Paul has been commissioned to write and/or rewrite feature screenplays for a variety of production companies in Los Angeles, New York, London and Athens.

Paul continues to develop a number of feature film writing and directing projects including the upcoming romantic comedy The Politics of Dating, the film that inspired Just Ask...

Paul has a number of projects coming out this year, including Cold Water, an independent feature drama for which he was Director of Photography, and the forthcoming Sci-Fi TV series Dystopia, which he co-wrote. Paul is also the screenwriter, executive producer and second-unit director of the romantic comedy Swing Away, which filmed in Rhodes, Greece and is available on DVD, VOD and Showtime.

Matthew Heckerling

Originally from Connecticut, Matthew earned a degree in literature from the University of Michigan and then went on to receive a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television.  While attending USC, Matthew was awarded the Thomas Bush Memorial Cinematography Scholarship.  A few years later he received the John F. Seitz Heritage Award for Outstanding Cinematography (Honorable Mention) from the American Society of Cinematographers.

Matthew has been working steadily since finishing USC.  Among his many feature film credits are Shadow People starring Dallas Roberts (The Good Wife, The Walking Dead), The American Standards starring Golden Globe Winners James Brolin and Joanna Cassidy, Crazylove starring Reiko Aylesworth (24) and Bruno Campos (Nip/Tuck), and Left In Darkness starring Monica Keena (Entourage) and David Anders (Alias, Heroes). He won Best Cinematography at the Fargo Film Festival for his work on Hard Scrambled.

Matthew is also a producer on and will be the Director of Photography for the forthcoming feature romantic comedy The Politics of Dating.

Matthew has also shot many commercials and music videos. His video credits include Green Day, Perry Farrell (Jane's Addiction), Sammy Hagar (Van Halen), Black Stone Cherry, teen pop star Tiffany Giardina, and Nickelback.

Evan Arthur Hall is a graduate of the Maggie Flanagan Studio.  He recently finished work on two plays: “If You Come By Here” and “When You Go” with Essential Theater Group.  His work on TV includes Deadly Desires and Redrum, while among his film credits are L’Absinthe  and In Searching.  Evan is grateful to his friends and family for their love and support.

Lithuanian born Jandra Dee has played the lead role in the short dramas Welcome, Three Years and the romantic comedy Just Ask..., and several other films produced and directed by emerging talent.  She has also starred in music videos by renown artists like Dirty South.  Jandra has been training with sought after on-camera teachers including Bob Krakower and Jason Buyer, and is represented by Innovative Artists.  Concurrently Jandra has been working as a fashion model in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Australia and has featured in numerous campaigns, videos, editorials and runway shows of established and emerging designers and brands.  She is represented by Next Models.

Kwabena Ampofo - Anton

Kwabena Ampofo is a Brooklyn, NY native who decided to leave behind his career as an engineer to dedicate himself to a life as an actor.  He’s the quintessential tall, dark and handsome man who possesses a real and genuine desire to create peace and harmony in all things, on and off the set.  He is currently enjoying great success performing stand up comedy all over New York City and continues to pursue his work with his not-for-profit charity, S.O.S. Gamers, an organization which aims to bridge the gap in technology and information for the urban poor in New York City.

As a Casting Director, Jamie has worked in both scripted and non-scripted programming for networks such as CBS, National Geographic, Food Network, HGTV and the Travel Channel. Look for Jamie in the upcoming feature film Don’t Open Your Eyes, Best Friends (a Garbage Stories tale), and the short film Old Long Since.  She recently made her directorial and screenwriting debut with jane, then gone, which was an official selection in Brooklyn Shorts and the Chain Film Festival.

Pablo Cervantes was born in Seville, Spain in 1977.  Specializing in the audiovisual industry, he has composed the original soundtrack/score for 22 films and over 50 television shows for some of the most important Spanish channels such as Televisión Española and A3.  He has also composed for several short films, documentaries, TV Series, commercials and for Festival de Cine Iberoamericano de Huelva. 
• Nominated for Best Original Score at the Goya Film Awards (2004 and 2006) and Best Original Song (2013).
• Best Original Score Award at the V Malaga Spanish Film Festival (2002).
• Nominated at the Spanish Cinema Writers Circle Awards (2000, '07 & '09).
• Nominated (2001) and Award (2002 & 2013) at the ASECAN Awards (Andalusian Film Writers).
• Nominated for Best Original Score at the II Spanish Film Music Critics Awards (2006).
• Best Original Score Award at the XVII Tolouse Spanish Film Festival (2012).
With a Music Education Degree he combines his career as a composer with his participation in several conferences and courses organized by SGAE, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Escuela Andaluza de Cinematografía, Universitat Ramon Llull.

Sometimes known by the moniker Birds Beware, Marc Herron is a producer, recording engineer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist who's contributed to numerous soundtracks for film and TV including contributions to the Oscar-nominated 2014 soundtrack for the documentary The Hornet's Nest, numerous songs for the cult 2013 NBC TV show Siberia, the 2013 film Shadow People as well as a myriad of song placements on MTV, VH1, Lions Gate, Warner Bros. and more with his past touring indie rock band Angeles Drake.

Marc currently resides in Echo Park, CA producing his first solo record as well as playing guitar with the band The Chelsea Royal.  He is also in the midst of composing music for a feature film titled Still Life.
